In the 21st century, plant-derived metal nanoparticles (PDMNPs) have gained considerable interest because of their tremendous and remarkable potential as therapeutic agents well development less expensive, safer, easier biomedical equipment. PDMNPs are synthesized from salts or oxides by using plant extracts plants diversified bioactive compounds that can act reducing stabilizing at time nanoparticle synthesis. Besides, take advantages over other methods low cost, environmental friendliness, sustainability. The present review explains synthesis PDMNPs, characterization techniques, oxidative stress-mediated pharmacological effects. mode actions for antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer properties has also been critically explored. Due to plethora data on properties, we highlighted PDMNPs’ shape, size, metals use, experimental findings regarding anti-microbial, in a tabulated form studies conducted last five years, 2018 2022. Because our study, we, herein, contemplate scientific community whole will get greater comprehension numerous applications single window.
